PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid collision of a linearly extending chip against a recessed part, and to suppress local abrasion of a cutter body caused by passing of the chip. SOLUTION: In this pin mirror cutter, a plurality of second tips 25 having a cutting edge at the inner edge of an end surface of the annular cutter body 21 are disposed circumferentially, and a second tip pocket 26 is formed in the front of each cutting edge in the cutter rotation direction R. A carbide plate 31 is removably mounted to the second tip pocket 26. Thus, a chip cut from work and extends linearly collides against the carbide plate 31, so that the local abrasion of the cutter body 21 caused by the passing of the chip can be suppressed effectively.
