A liquid purifying device for separating and purifying a mixed emulsion liquid (4) containing water and an oil which is discharged from a compressor (1) or the like in a machine or assembly shop, to produce a purified water, wherein a metal structure (9) having iron plates (7) is immersed in the mixed emulsion liquid (4) in a fourth oil tank (4a), and an air-pump is provided for forming air bubbles (12) in the oil tank, and wherein rust (S) is generated on the iron plates (7) in 5 to 10 hours, and the oil particle component of the mixed emulsion liquid (4) is separated from the water component thereof and adsorbed by this rust(S), to thereby produce an effluent (Eh). When the iron plates (7) is simply immersed in the mixed emulsion liquid (4), the decomposition of the emulsion requires 14 to 17 hours, whereas, the supply of air bubbles (12) by using the air-pump (Pm) accelerates the generation of the rust (S) and thus leads to the acceleration of the decomposition of the emulsion (4) (completion in 5 to 7 hr) with high efficiency and at an advantageous cost. |
