AUTOMATIC WATERING APPARATUS FOR BLAST FURNACE TUYERE ZONE

PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided which prevents temporary or long term stopping of blast furnace operation by promptly sensing noise due to abnormalities such as leak from blast furnace tuyere zone, and automatically spraying high pressure cooling water onto the concerned area and rapidly reducing an air amount at the same time. CONSTITUTION: The automatic watering apparatus for blast furnace tuyere zone comprises wireless microphones(12) which are adjacently installed inside each tuyere zones(10) of a blast furnace(1); a noise amplifier(14) amplifying the signals by receiving wireless signals transmitted from the radio microphones(12); an ECC part(16) simultaneously displaying on a screen whether the data are normal or not by converting the signals into data after receiving noise signals amplified in the noise amplifier(14) and displaying on the screen where the concerned tuyere(5) is located through lighting when the data are abnormal, and then generating warning sound through an alarm; a trending chart part(18) indicating the trends by charting consistently changing trends of the data displayed on the screen of the ECC; a PLC part(22) transmitting signals requiring emergency watering to the side of the valve controller(20) and promptly reducing an air amount on the basis of the signals at the same time; a valve controller(20) controlling opening or closing conditions an emergency watering flow control valve(26) for a certain period of time; and an emergency watering supply line(28) which is formed so as to supply high pressure cooling water through a plurality of nozzles in case that cooling water is transferred from a cooling water supply line(24).
