PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire having an improved kerf of a vehicle is provided to adjust the stiffness of a block against wear by decreasing the surface area of the block with enlarging the surface area of the kerf, and to prevent the tire from being injured by bending the kerf in outputting the tire from a mold. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire for a vehicle is composed of an inner liner, a carcass, a belt, and a tread part(1). A block(2) is formed in the tread part, and a kerf(3) is formed in the block. The sectional area of the kerf is increased in the lower part, and the width of the kerf is increased at the inside. The kerf is lengthened according to wear of the tire with reducing the width of the kerf in the end. The surface of the block is reduced, and the width of the kerf is increased with bending the kerf longitudinally. The stiffness is adjusted according to wear of the tire by reducing the surface area of the block with enlarging the surface area of the kerf. Resistance is reduced, and damage of the tire is prevented with bending the kerf at the inside in outputting the tire from the mold.
