The invention relates to cosmetic preparations, especially shaving gels, which are suited for shaving that involves the use of a mechanical shaving device, in particular, an electric shaving device. The cosmetic preparations are characterized by containing: (1) one or more N-acyl sarcosinates; (2) one or more polysaccharides; (3) one or more substances, which form a gel skeleton in water, which do not depict any polysaccharides and which have advantageous interface-active properties; (4) one or more solubilizers, preferably selected from the group consisting of polyethoxylated saturated fat constituents or oil constituents, and; (5) water.
