PURPOSE: A part supplying apparatus of a surface mounting apparatus is provided to simplify structure, obtain clockwise/counterclockwise rotation, facilitate assembling, and adjust precision transfer pitch of a tape. CONSTITUTION: A part supplying apparatus of a surface mounting apparatus comprises a part supplying unit(110), a location sensing unit(114), a vinyl separating unit(120) and a vinyl withdrawing unit(130). The part supplying unit(110) rotates a circular permanent magnet to generate clockwise/counterclockwise rotating force, and transfers a tape at a pitch with the generated rotating force. The location sensing unit(114) is coupled to a rotating shaft of a gear(124) coupled to the part supplying unit(110) for sensing the location for controlling transfer pitch and direction of a tape. The vinyl separating unit(120) transfers the striped vinyl from the tape with the clockwise rotating force and re-transfers the vinyl with the counterclockwise rotating force. The vinyl withdrawing unit(130) is rotated by the clockwise rotating force to withdraw the vinyl from the vinyl separating unit(120), and ejects the withdrawn vinyl to the vinyl separating unit(120) with the counterclockwise rotating force.
