LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY HAVING STRUCTURE OF PREVENTING DETACHMENT OF OPTICAL SHEETS

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display having a structure of preventing detachment of optical sheets is provided to prevent light focusing sheets from being detached or moving from their positions. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes a back light assembly, a liquid crystal panel, and a mold frame(300). The back light assembly is constructed of an optical source generating light, a light guide plate for transmitting the light to the liquid crystal panel uniformly, and a light focusing means(226) configured of a plurality of optical path controlling members. The light focusing means focuses the light transmitted from the light guide plate on the surface of the liquid crystal panel, and has position fixing protrusions(227,228) at both sides. The liquid crystal panel is placed on the back light assembly. The mold frame accommodates the back light assembly and the liquid crystal panel. The mold frame has catches(340) at both sides.
