<p>The present invention relates to a process for preparing an organo-modified silicone by hydrosilation reaction and thereafter treating the hydrosilation reaction product with an aldehyde-scavenging agent. The present invention also relates to compositions comprising said organo-modified silicone. The compositions are designed to be applied to surfaces, especially surfaces susceptible of folding and creasing e.g. fabrics. More particularly the composition is designed to be used as an ironing aid.</p> |
