摘要 PURPOSE: Cowl cross member structure of a steering wheel for reducing vibration is provided to reduce vibration of a steering wheel and to improve endurance. CONSTITUTION: Cowl cross member structure for reducing vibration in a steering wheel comprises a steering column(104) fixed on a cowl cross bar(100); a supporting plate composed of an upper plate and a lower plate; a bead protruded on an upper face of the upper plate; a flange formed on a connecting portion between the steering column and the bead; and a steering wheel(112). The beads are formed on both sides of the upper plate from the cowl cross bar and the steering column. Thereby, the cowl cross member improves vertical stiffness by the bead formed on the upper plate. Moreover, the cowl cross member structure for reducing vibration in the steering wheel reduces vibration of the steering wheel.
