This invention relates to a device for a dust container for a vacuum cleaner, which comprises a bag (20) made of airtight material and a closing device (23, 25) connected to the opening of the bag. The closing device comprises a collar (23) with an opening (24) through which dust particles flow into the bag and a plate (25) having an opening (26). The plate is slidably arranged in the plane of the collar from a position where the plate opening is aligned with the collar opening to a position where the plate covers the collar opening. The plate is designed such that it is accessible to manually close the collar opening from the outside of the vacuum cleaner. |
