The invention relates to surface-active compositions. The inventive surface-active composition comprises a synthetic anion surface-active agent based on ethylene glycol ether sulphates of monoalkyl phenols having general formula R<1>-C6H4O (C2H4O)m SO3X (1) or the composition of formula (1) with a composition of formula /C6H7O2(OH)2-z(OSO3X)(NH2)0.8-y (NHSO3X)y (NHCOCH3)0.2 /n (2), or the composition (1) with a composition of formula R<3> O- (CH2C2O)kH (3), or the composition (1) with a composition of formula R<4> C6H4 O (C2H4O)mH (4) or the composition (1) with compositions (2) and (4). R1 is an alkene radical, m is an average number of ethylene oxide molecules added to one alkylphenol molecule. Said surface-active composition also comprises X-gegenion and water. It is possible to obtain various combinations of the number of alkyl radical carbon atoms, of the average number of ethylene oxide molecules added to one alkylphenol molecule.
