PURPOSE: Provided is a piggy bank which only opens when the pre-set amount of coins is reached so that the tanning for the children to save money is effectively achieved. CONSTITUTION: The above piggy bank comprises: an input opening(1a) and a door(10) through which the deposited coins(20) can be withdrawn; a counter(15) which is located at the above input opening(1a) and displays a signal recognizing the amount of the coins(20); a locking device(11) which opens/closes the above door(10) according to the displayed content of the above counter(15); a controlling device(12) which receives the signal from the above counter(15) and controls opening/closing of the door(10); and a power source device which supplies the power.
