PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome problems of conventional auxiliary coils such that the manufacturing cost of which is increased resulting in causing an economy problem because the coils are placed behind a deflection yoke and to the left and right of a neck resulting in a very complicated mold structure of the rear part of the deflection yoke, that the correction effect of a correction component decreases because a distance between the correction component and the tail end of a vertical coil is increase and further, that mis-convergence of coma aberration is caused due to the effect of the hysteresis characteristic of silicon steel plates. SOLUTION: The deflection yoke of the color cathode ray tube of this invention has first correction device consisting of a resistor, an auxiliary coil, and a differential resistor connected to vertical deflection coils V1, V2 and a 2nd correction device consisting of an auxiliary coil connected to horizontal deflection coils H1, H2, a control coil Co connected to the vertical deflection coils V1, V2 and a control circuit mainly comprising diodes.
