PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an error takes place when a noise level is high in a system for digitizing an intermediate frequency to suppress an impulse noise. SOLUTION: A television tuner for a digital ground wave has inputting parts 2 to 15 for supplying a sampled intermediate signal, and for instance, a zero intermediate frequency is digitized by an ADC12 in accordance with a desired received channel worsened by interference. A threshold generator 16 generates a threshold that is larger than the moving average of the amplitude of continuous samples, and a comparator 17 compares the sampled amplitude with the threshold. When the sampled amplitude surpasses the threshold, a collector 18 sets the samples to zero before fast conversion 19. The generator 16 eliminates the samples set to zero from the moving average.
