PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin sorting device capable of automatically refilling five coin tubes individually with coins of five denominations available for change and increasing the degree of freedom in setting of a commodity price. SOLUTION: In this coin sorting device, among the coins sorted by a sorting parts 201-206, genuine coins are led to various kinds of coin tubes CT500-CT5 or a safe passage B, while forged coins are returned to a return port. The coin sorting device is provided with the five coin tubes CT500-CT5 matching the five denominations, and by means of the respective sorting parts 201-206, the coins are divided between the five coin tubes CT500-CT5 according their denominations. In this way, the coins of five denominations, for example, a 500-yen coin, a 100-yen coin, a 50-yen coin, a 10-yen coin, and a 5-yen coin can be stored, and consequently, the degree of freedom in setting of a commodity price can be increased.
