PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-type battery which is light-weighted, flexible, and has a high energy density and in which adhesiveness of power generation element is uniform and superior. SOLUTION: In the thin-type battery having a pair of sheath materials 4, 5 and installed of the power generation element composed of a spacer, a positive electrode 3, a negative electrode 1 and an electrolyte 2 between the sheath material, the inner pressure of the battery is held below the atmospheric pressure. It is preferable that at least one side of sheath material is formed by a flexible material, and, for example, a heat-fusible plastic film having a metal layer is used as one sheath material 4, and a metal film is used as the other sheath material 5. It is preferable that the spacer has a heat-fusible plastic layer and has a thickness not more than that of the power generation element, and it is preferable that such an electrolyte as polymer solid electrolyte is used as the power generation element. |
