PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make data continuously processable even in the case that access of high reliability is secured by alternative assignment processing by application to a magnetic disk device or an optical disk device like a hard disk device where video data is recorded, with respect to an information reproducer, an information processing method, and a recording medium with this method recorded thereon. SOLUTION: With respect to an area concerned with a secondary defect, a recording means like a memory is used to separately execute processing of recording and reproducing.
