PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture processor for applying a print job to a remote printer without adversely affecting the other unit on the same network and without dropping work efficiency. SOLUTION: When image data accumulated in an outer storage device 207 is transmitted to the remote printer (multifunction digital copying machine 302), a multifunction digital copying machine 301 obtains the print speed of the remote printer, and decides a transmission interval between the pages of image data accumulated on the obtained print speed. Image data is transmitted to the remote printer page page by page via LAN 303 at the decided transmission interval.
