<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a failure point assessment device for gas-insulated electrical apparatus that can enhance reliability of failure point assessment, by combining the judgement of partial discharge at the indicating stage of the failure and the failure point assessment. SOLUTION: The failure point assessment device comprises a partial discharge sensor 11, that detects the partial discharge generated in a metal container 1 that seals covers up tight the insulating gas, a partial discharge judgement processing circuit 12 that judges the existence of generation of partial discharge based on the output of this partial discharge sensor 11, a failure point assessing sensor 13 that detects the phenomenon at the occurrence of grounding fault inside the metal container 1, a failure point assessment processing circuit 14 that judges the existence of occurrence of grounding fault in the metal container 1, based on the output of this failure point assessment sensor 13, and a collation unit 15 that assesses the failure point by collating the output of the partial discharge judgement processing circuit 12 and the failure point assessment processing circuit 14.</p> |
