PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for effectively executing a composited picture transfer process over a network. SOLUTION: In transferring a composited picture formed by compositing a polurality of partial pictures photographed in a modality over a network, a picture transmitter transmits either the composited picture, original pictures being partial picture of the composited picture, or compositing information required for generating the composited picture composed of the original images, or combined data, based on a user-designated output addressing unit or apparatus attributes. This constitution reduces the network traffic, prevents unwanted data processes in the addressing unit and improves the system throughput. |
