The rolling bearing has an inner sleeve (3) which has stops (3c) protruding radially outwards with at least one stop protruding on each side of the bearing cage (4) and with the shortest free space in the longitudinal direction between the stops corresponding to at least half of the displacement travel of the rod (2) being supported by the bearing. The bearing cage in each end position lies on at least one of the stops. The end stops on the end face emerge from the sheet metal material of the inner sleeve and are bevelled radially outwards perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the inner sleeve.
