PURPOSE: A method for alarming the receipt of an object in a mobile phone is provided to conveniently use the mobile phone by sensing a response when the other party gives the response and informing the sensed response to a user using a uniform method. CONSTITUTION: A BTS(Base Transceiver Station) receives a response signal from an object and transmits a tone off signal and a call connection signal to a transmitting mobile phone(ST114). The transmitting mobile phone receives the tone off signal and the call connection signal and stops a ring back tone(ST115). It is judged whether an object receipt alarm function included in a menu composition of the transmitting mobile phone is turned on(ST116). If the object receipt alarm function is turned on, it is judged whether a sound is set for informing the receipt of the object to a user(ST118). If the sound is set, a predetermined sound is reproduced during a uniform time using a speaker(ST119). If a vibration is set, the receipt of the object is informed to the user through the vibration of the mobile phone using a motor(ST120).
