<p>An optical recording medium of a recording format in which the recording surface is divided into zones, headers in each zone are arranged continuously in the radial direction, contrarily headers at boundaries between the zones are arranged discontinuously, the headers are shared by lands and grooves, and data is recorded in both lands and grooves, wherein noise is prevented from occurring in a tracking error signal which occurs in and near the section from the noise used as a reference of landing until the pull-in of the tracking servo by removing the headers arranged over three or more tracks so as to transform the range over three or more tracks into grooves, and thus the stability of landing at zone boundaries is improved.</p> |
