Rubber mixture for production of low-damping tires or tire tread, based on a polyether-diolefin block copolymer in which the polyether component is incorporated into the polymer chain

Polyether/diolefin rubbers in which the polyether is incorporated into the polymer chain. Rubber mixtures (I) based on polyether/diolefin rubber, containing 49.99-99.99 wt.% polymerized diolefin, 0-50 wt.% vinylaromatic compounds and 0.01-5 wt.% polyether which is incorporated into the polymer chain (total 100 wt.%), plus 10-500 parts by weight (pts. wt.) filler to 100 pts. wt. rubber. An Independent claim is also included for polyether/diolefin rubbers used in (I), obtained by reacting a living polymer anion (made by polymerization of diolefin(s) and optionally vinylaromatic compounds using an anionic initiator) at -100 to +150 deg C with a reactive polyether of formula (II). A = 1- to 4-valent 1-24C alkyl residue, a 1- to 3-valent 6-24C aryl residue or a 1- to 3-valent 7-24C alkylaryl residue; R<1>, R<2> = H, methyl, ethyl, propyl or butyl; X = halogen, 1-24C alkoxy, 6-24C aryloxy or 7-24C alkylaryloxy, with the proviso that at least one group X is halogen; m = 4-30; and q = 1-4.
