PURPOSE: A rotavator for a tractor is provided to uniformly jumble flooded paddy field into a constant depth regardless of the upward and downward movement of the tractor, and to prevent the failure of a rotary blade or an engine due to overload. CONSTITUTION: The rotavator for a tractor comprises a link mechanism(14,16,18) rotatably installed to the rear side of the tractor, a frame(8), a lifting cylinder(4), and plural rotary blades(10), a hydraulic cylinder(6) mounted to one of the link mechanisms so as to lift the link mechanism according to the extension and contraction thereof, an adjustment valve(24) for adjusting the extension and contraction of the hydraulic cylinder, a ground contact member(12) slidable along the ground, and a movable wire(40) having a cable(34) that one end is connected to the ground contact member and the other end is connected to the adjustment valve.
