PURPOSE: A card-shaped wallet loss preventing device is provided, which generates the alarm when a wallet is placed horizontally over a certain period to warn its owner of the danger of loss due to the movement. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a body; a power supply part(24) which is installed in the body and supplies the electric power; a sound generation unit which receives the electric power from the power supply part and generates sound; and a horizontal sensor(30) which impresses the electric power from the power supply part by the sound generation unit when the body is horizontally placed and blocks the electric power when the body is not horizontally placed. The body is thin and card-shaped. The device comprises further a delay unit which delays the power impressed from the power supply part for a certain time when the body is to be horizontal.
