<p>An air spring is mounted between a pair of spaced vehicle components and has a pair of end members (10), each secured to one of the spaced components (2, 3). A flexible bellows (4) extends between and is sealingly connected to the end members and forms an internal pressure chamber (12). A vibration blocking mass (18) is secured to the bellows and divides the interior chamber into a pair of subchambers and the bellows into a pair of sleeves, at least one of which has a rolling lobe. A piston is located adjacent the rolling lobe and forms a part of the vibration blocking mass or one of the end members and when used as the end member is in combination with a separate annular weight mounted on the bellows, which weight functions as the vibration blocking mass.</p> |
