PURPOSE: A current restraining device for a drum motor driving system is provided to automatically select the initiation of a drum motor and the normal operation by using small elements of low allowance current values, thereby increasing the freedom of design. CONSTITUTION: A current restraining device for a drum motor driving system includes a microcomputer(100') for outputting a pulse width modulation signal corresponding to initiation of the drum motor and the normal operation, an operation amplification part(180') for amplifying the pulse width modulation signal applied from the microcomputer, a DC/DC converter(200') for receiving an error voltage between the operation amplification part and a current restraining part for amplifying the error voltage by a set gain to output a voltage(Vs) thereof, and the current restraining part(190') applied with the output voltage from the DC/DC converter for determining the initiation of the drum motor and the normal operation to output a voltage value thereof.
