METHOD FOR MODULATING ILLUMINANCE OF LIGHT IN ELEVATOR CAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the energy saving effect of the traditional technology for modulating the illuminance of the light in an elevator car which requires a longer period of time for lightening the illuminance to modulate the illuminance according to the position of the moving elevator. SOLUTION: The illuminance 5 inside the elevator car is changed by controlling a light modulator 2 consisting of an inverter circuit 4 by opening/closing of the door of the elevator. As the illuminance of the light inside the car is changed in response to the opening/closing of the door, the energy saving effect is enhanced.
