摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop such an optical film that the optical path of the incident light from the side face direction is efficiently converted into the viewing direction and that a thin and lightweight front light type reflection liquid crystal display device with bright and easily visible display can be formed. SOLUTION: The optical film has a transparent film (1A) having a repeated structure with a regularly or irregularly arranged pitch of a light exiting means (A) which includes a slope (A1) for conversion of the optical path having 30 to 48 deg. inclination angle to the film plane so as to convert the optical path of the light in the film plane direction into the film thickness direction, and has an antireflection layer (1B) on the film surface where the above light exiting means is formed. The optical film has light transmitting property in the film thickness direction. The reflection type liquid crystal display device is manufactured by disposing the above optical film on the viewing side of a reflection type liquid crystal display panel having an illumination device on its side face, with the light exiting means of the optical film being outside.
