PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for transfer of an image which enable execution of excellent transfer printing on various printing paper. SOLUTION: The device 10 for transfer of an image is equipped with a rotary drum 11, a fixing means 12 for fixing an intermediate medium 60 having the image recorded and the printing paper 65 laid on the medium on the outer peripheral surface of the rotary drum 11 and a heating means 20 for heating the intermediate medium 60 and the printing paper 65 in the state of being fixed on the rotary drum 11. |
