PURPOSE: A color correcting circuit is provided to detect only white color and integrate the color to control red and blue gains so as to enable a white balancing operation in any picture. CONSTITUTION: A color correcting circuit includes a data integrator(22), a controller(23), a gain control and signal generation unit(25), and a white detector(26). The data integrator receives ccd data of a camera to generate color difference signals, and then integrates the color difference signals only when an integration enable signal is inputted. The controller receives the integrated result from the data integrator and calculate white balance to detect red and blue gains. The gain control and signal generation unit controls color gain of the ccd data using the red and blue gains. The white detector presumes white using the output signal of the gain control and signal generation unit and outputs the integration enable signal to the data integrator according to the presumed result.
