LAYOUT OF GILBERT CELL MIXER USING COMMON CENTER STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A layout of a Gilbert cell mixer using a common center structure is provided, which maximizes a linear characteristics due to a matching by making a common center point of the first MOS structure and the second MOS structure. CONSTITUTION: A Mixer includes a MOS transistor where a source terminal, a drain terminal(14) receiving carriers(electrons or holes), a gate terminal(12) controlling the flow of carriers and a contact hole(11) contacting the source terminal and the drain terminal and the gate terminal are arranged regularly in an RF block. The source terminal is a source of carriers. The first MOS structure(M1')(200) and the second MOS structure(M2')(210) are arranged by connecting two MOS transistors whose W/L is 10/0.6 micro meter, in order to match a layout of a differential structure of M1 and M2. The two MOS transistors are connected to a source terminal(13b) diagonally.
