<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device for easy locking of a buckle and a tongue. SOLUTION: When an occupant 3 holds the tongue 7 by one hand and pulls out a seat belt 4 through a shoulder anchor 6, a seat belt pulling out detection device provided in a seat belt winding up device 5 detects pulling out of the seat belt 4. After pulling out of the seat belt 4 is detected, a tongue position detection device 11 is actuated to detect three-dimensional position of the tongue 7. After the position of the tongue 7 is detected, a buckle position adjustment device operates a buckle anchor 8 and a buckle position adjustment mechanism provided in a buckle retention device 9 to move the buckle 10 to a vicinity of the detected position of the tongue 7. The occupant 3 grasps the buckle 10 and locks the tongue 7 to the buckle 10 under this condition.</p> |
