PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door stop with load capacity setting, which is destroyed under an unexpected load. SOLUTION: The door stop has a base part (2) formed approximately in an L-shape in such a manner that (a) a horizontal part (21) and a vertical part (22) are made orthogonal to each other, (b) a horizontal part (31) and a vertical part (32), an inclined part (33) of a forward inclined slope connecting the surface of the horizontal part (31) with that of the vertical part (32), a holding part (35) installed protrusively at the end of the horizontal part (31), plate-like covering parts (34) juxtaposed on both right and left side surfaces of the vertical part (32) and the inclined part (33), and an approximately square plate-shaped bottom plate part (37) elongated from the rear end of the horizontal part (31). The door stop is provided with a main body member (3), wherein a hollow part (38) is formed in such a manner as to be surrounded by the vertical part (32), the inclined part (33), the covering part (34) and the bottom plate part (37), and a cushion material (4) composed of (c) an elastic material and fixed to the end of the holding part (35). The vertical part (22) is fixed to a door surface, and the base part (2) is inserted into the hollow part (38) so as to fix the horizontal part (21) on the bottom plate part (37).
