PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water refrigerant heating air conditioner, capable of preventing troubles, such as a malfunction of a refrigeration cycle or the like, from occurring by immediately stopping operation of a heating medium heating device, when an outside hot water heater is operated by mistake during a cooling operation. SOLUTION: The refrigeration cycle S, capable of switching a heating operation system and a cooling operation system, is provided. The heating operation system is provided with a refrigerant heating circuit 21 for effecting heat exchange between the refrigerant and the heating medium water (hot water), and the heating medium heating device 3 for the heating medium water is provided with a hot water circulating circuit 4 for circulating the heating medium water to and from the outside hot-water heater. An outdoor air temperature detecting sensor for detecting the outside air temperature is provided, and when the cooling operation system is operated, if the temperature detected by the outdoor air temperature sensor reaches or exceeds a set temperature, operation of the heating medium heating device is interrupted.
