PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a disturbance of atmosphere around a water dispersion zone to be prevented as much as possible and further enable a high precision heat treatment to be carried out because, even if a space having no container therein is generated within the water dispersion zone, external atmosphere entering into the spacing or the like is shut off by the water dispersion means arranged at the end of the water dispersion zone, or the external atmosphere enters after giving a sufficient calorie. SOLUTION: There is provided a container processing device comprised of a container transferring conveyor installed in a can body; a plurality of water dispersion zones 10, 11; a plurality of water storing tanks arranged in correspondence with each of the water dispersion zones 10, 11 below the transferring conveyor; a temperature adjusting means for use in adjusting water in each of the water storing tanks; and a water dispersion means arranged in communication with each of the water storing tanks so as to disperse water to the water dispersion zones 10, 11, wherein a container to be transferred is dispersed with water in sequence to perform a heat treatment for it. An amount of dispersion of water at the end part of at least one water dispersion zone in its transferring direction is set to be larger than that of a central part of the water dispersion zone.
