PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently condense light toward an object, as for an illuminating device where a comparatively narrow light distribution is required. SOLUTION: As for the constitution of the illuminating device, an optical prism with transmissive/total reflection surface is arranged ahead of a flash light emitting tube 22 so as to cover nearly the whole area of the flash light emitting tube 22, and the light emitted from the tube 22 is condensed and projected ahead by using the transmissive/total reflection surfaces and a reflecting member 21, and in order to form the transmissive/total reflection surfaces, a 1st aerial layer (33a1 and 33a2) and a 2nd aerial layer (33a3 and 33a4) having nearly the uniform gap width are arranged in the optical prism so that they may face each other with reference to a plane including the light emitting part of the tube 22 and going forward. Then, the light condensing ability is enhanced, and also, a prism part 33a constituted by integrally forming four prisms S1 to S4 is obtained. Besides, an outer panel part 33b is integrally formed with the prism part 23a, then, the illuminating device and the camera main body are made more compact and the components are reduced. |
