PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural rubber having high degree of proteolysis, therefore having extremely low possibility to induce allergy. SOLUTION: This low-allergic natural rubber is a natural rubber subjected to proteolytic treatment and is characterized by that proteins and proteolysis products each >=4,500 in number-average molecular weight are not detected. This natural rubber is obtained by adding a protease having exopeptidase activity to a natural rubber latex to undergo a proteolysis. |
