PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antistatic agent which does not reduce the water resistance of a thermoplastic resin and imparts an excellent antistatic effect, a resin composition incorporating the same, and to provide a molded article. SOLUTION: There are provided an antistatic agent comprising one or more polymers (B) selected from the group consisting of polyetheresters, polyetheramides and polyetheresteramides prepared in the presence of an ionic surface active agent (A) of which the initiation temperature of thermal weight reduction in air is at least 200 deg.C, a resin composition comprising the antistatic agent and a thermoplastic resin, and a molded article prepared by molding the resin composition.
