PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter curtain capable of effectively controlling the making of a noise in the case of opening and shutting and in a closing state and reducing the maximum take-up diameter in case of opening. SOLUTION: When an intermediate section 13 between a large knuckle 11 and a small knuckle of a slat 10 is made to take up to a hoisting drum, it is formed by having a circular arc-shaped section so as to make the hoisting drum side as a recessed surface. The large knuckle and the small knuckle are respectively formed by having a circular-arc shaped section approximately similar to the circle, the small knuckle is fitted to the large knuckle in a joint section in the shape of a concentric circle, and a gap between both knuckles is narrowed as much as possible. Following the motions of take-up and rewind, both knuckles in the joint section can be rotated around the center of the circular-arc while gently coming into contact with the curved surface.
