PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for simply opening/closing a lid to solve problems that the lid of a conventional screw-capped can or bottle is so tightly fastened that a woman or an aged person has difficulty in opening, while generally a rubber band is wound around the lid or the lid is heated for opening, the rubber band cannot be wound around some of recent lids, and there is a fear that contents degrade in freshness since the lid is loosely fastened for re-opening. SOLUTION: The tool comprises an elastic element 2 such as rubber attached on metallic rods 1 in a parallelogrammic form which are connected via hinges for simply opening/closing a screw cap using leverage. In addition, a magnetic element 3 is attached, so that it can be attracted to a refrigerator to make its location clear.
