PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a commercial AC power supply is required to obtain energy in a conventional device even when ventilating operation is temporarily carried out for a short time to exhaust contaminated air generated in a place such as a bathroom and the energy is obtained from other means so that the energy cannot be saved. SOLUTION: A ventilator comprises a fan for supplying air, a fan motor for driving the fan and a power supply means for supplying power to the fan motor. The power supply means includes a power generating means for generating the power in accordance with a rotating movement and a rotating movement input means for inputting the rotating movement to the power generating means.
