<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize adhesion of a material to be stirred at the time of stirring and thereby to eliminate malfunction and abnormal wear of a chain caused by intrusion of fibrous material and corrosive oxide. SOLUTION: An annular endless chain 6 is used as a transmission means of driving of a stirring device, scraper attachments 8 are provided at an outer periphery thereof on every other link of the annular endless chain and scrapers 7 are linked thereon. Further the scrapers can be closely attached because of a special shape of the scraper attachment and thereby a bottom board 11 is dispensed with. The annular endless chain is stronger than a roller chain to corrosion and wear because of a contact point of a sliding part made of a round steel, has simple structure and thereby sufficient durability even in rough usage is realized.</p> |
