PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable apparatus equipped with a printer having an excellent print performance in which a compact print sheet guide mechanism is incorporated while reducing the size and weight. SOLUTION: A portable apparatus incorporating a printer comprises an opening/closing cover member 12 of printer, means for keeping a constant rotational angle of the cover member rotated from a close position in order to open the printer, and a pair of means 15 disposed in the vicinity of a position farthest from the rotational center of the cover member while spaced apart by the width of the print sheet in a direction parallel with the central axis of the center of rotation and regulating movement of the print sheet in that direction. Positional shift of printing or sheet jam due to oblique feed of the print sheet can be prevented even when a cut sheet is printed under portable state.
