PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner image density measuring method by which the density of a toner image is accurately measured in a short time and to provide a low-priced and high-definition image forming device by reflecting a density measured result by the method in an image forming condition. SOLUTION: By using a light projecting and receiving unit equipped with a light receiving sensor, a light source for diffuse reflection arranged at a position and in posture on which diffused reflection light is made incident and a light source for regular reflection arranged at a position and in posture on which regularly reflected light is made incident, both the light source for diffuse reflection and the light source for regular reflection are turned on and incident light on the light receiving sensor is measured in timing that the toner image for measuring density by black toner is carried to a measuring point, and only the light source for regular reflection is turned off. Then, the measured value of the black toner is corrected by measuring the incident light on the light receiving sensor in each timing that the toner image for measuring density by each color toner is successively carried to the measuring point. |
