PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding chair which enables stable support and slide prevention against the floor at its used state, and position shift and collapse prevention at its folded state, with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The folding chair 1 has at least a front leg frame 2, a rear leg frame 3 and a seat 4. The folding chair 1 has a used state P, in which the chair is stood by tilting the front leg frame 2 and the rear leg frame 3 to the predetermined angles between the floor and the directions b of the legs, and a folded state Q, in which the front leg frame 2, the rear leg frame 3 and the seat 4 are folded to a roughly flat state. A slide prevention members 7 are fixed on the front leg frame to prevent its sliding on the floor F such that this slide prevention members 7 stand roughly vertically on the floor F at its used state.
