PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a rigid mineral plate-like constituent containing inorganic fiber as a main component to be stably obtained by conducting a mixture of an amine, a substance having an amino group or an imino group and a binder having an isocyanate group in a diluting system and preventing an abrupt reaction. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the rigid mineral plate-like member comprises the steps of separately adding and mixing the amine or the substance having the amino group or the imino group and the binder having the isocyanate group in a slurry obtained by dispersing a plate-like constituent containing inorganic fiber and inorganic powder main components in water, wet papermaking a wet mat from the obtained slurry, and heating to dry the mat.
