A laminate for a packaging material which comprises an outer layer having at least a paper layer and, on the inside thereof, a barrier layer and an inner layer having at least a layer containing a polycyclic olefin copolymer. In the laminate, the paper layer and the barrier layer present on the inside thereof can exhibit the function to protect against the damage of the packaging material even when it is treated at an elevated temperature. |
