PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer joint having a structure improved to enable the smooth fixing of the sheet using an inner rail member. SOLUTION: The outer joint has a groove form nearly same as the form of a sheet fixing member extending from the outer face of both walls to the bottom face and a slit having a nearly H-shaped form is longitudinally formed at the center part of the longitudinal direction of the bottom wall to form a pair of elastic pieces having cantilever structure. A dead end stopper to contact with the tip end of the sheet fixing member is attached to the tip end of the elastic piece in the form of a wedge having a stop face erected nearly vertically at the tip end of the elastic member and extending from the upper edge of the stop face to the upper face of the elastic piece along an inclined face lowering backward.
